Our Services
Treatment Methods
Cryotherapy (Cold Pack)
Used for acute musculoskeletal sprains and some neuromuscular conditions. Causes: vasoconstriction, reduction in nerve conduction velocity, skeletal muscle tension, pain, muscle spasms, swelling or edema.
Hydroculator Heat (Hot Pack)
Used for infrared injury. Causes: vasodilation, increase in nerve condition velocity, cutaneous circulation, reduction in skeletal muscle tension and pain.
Interferential Electro-Therapy (EMS)
Used in muscle re-education and strengthening. Increases blood flow, reduces edema, relaxes muscle spasms and increases joint flexibility.
Diatherapy
Used for deep heat induction., reduces spasms, contractions, increases circulation, decreases healing time.
Ultrasound
Designed for tissue stimulation to relieve swelling, inflammation, increase circulation, inhibit/reduce calcium deposits/scar tissue and promote healing.
Massage Therapy
Designed to reduce muscle spasms, disperse adhesions, scar tissue, increase circulation, restore normal muscle tone, effleurage, petrissage and/or tapotement.
Neuromuscular Re-Education
Designed for the re-education of movement, balance, coordination, kinesthetic sense, posture, and proprioception.
Joint Mobilization
Used to re-establish or increase functional integrity to a joint (peripheral or spinal). The goal is the restoration of normal arthrokinematics.
Flexion-Distraction
Used to re-establish curves of the spine, facilitate distraction of joint facets, reduces muscle spasms, edema, tissue congestion, reduces fibrotic tissues and adhesions.
Manual Traction
Designed to reduce intersegmental fixations, rehabilitate spinal soft tissue, restore normal curves, restore intervertebral dysfunction, and relieve nerve compression.
Chiropractic Manipulation
Manipulation, or an adjustment, is a way to bring proper motion back into a joint by reducing nervous system irritation. This is helpful for our bodies as we fall into day-to-day patterns and behaviors that create imbalances in our bodies. Imbalances can be present in joints receiving too much, or not enough, motion. Either case can cause inflammation and muscle tightness which can lead to pain. The goal is to relieve pain and improve the body’s physical function.
SOT – Sacro-Occipital Technique
SOT helps normalize the relationship between the pelvis and the head using gravity to make the necessary correction (low force).
